What is gamecenter?

gamecenter is a pay-to-enter Japanese inspired arcade hosting some of the most popular games in arcade history.
The term “gamecenter” is derived from Japanese coin operated arcades, known for their high-energy games and vibrant atmosphere.
We aim to recreate this experience for guests to connect, compete, and explore the golden era of arcades.

gamecenter is brought to you by 100 Yen Life who have provided some of the largest arcade deployments at events across the US.

We’re located less than a minute from King County’s Route 150 bus stop!
This makes visiting anywhere from downtown Seattle to downtown Kent a breeze

How does admission work?

gamecenter offers two admission prices:
$20 - Single Entry - Enjoy our vast game library to it’s fullest but leaving gamecenter will conclude your admission.

$30 - All-day Access - Feel free to go leave and come back to the arcade as much as you want for the day! Just show our staff your stamped receipt.

*All sales are final and are non-refundable.

Are accessories and merchandise available?

Yes, we have a variety of items available not limited to:

  • 1YL branded shirts and gear

  • Items to enhance your arcade experience like save data cards

  • Gloves, earbuds, and other peripherals

What is the food and drink policy?

  • No outside food or drinks allowed in the arcade with the exception of water

  • Drinks and snacks purchased on-site or water bottles are allowed inside the arcade

  • No food or drinks on arcade cabinets unless there are designated cup-holders

Do you offer food or drinks?

Yes! We currently offer a variety of drinks ranging from caffeinated to non-carbonated products and some snacks.
We also have a water station for those that just need H2O.

How do the games work?

With the exception of our prize games and card-maker, all our games are set to free-play.
Just follow any instructions on the screen to begin playing!

*If an arcade cabinet is mid credit when you begin playing, please ask a gamecenter staff member to reset the credit for you.

How do the prize games work?

Prize games can be played via purchasing tokens at the front desk. Each game may require a different amount of tokens so please read below!
*Some prize games do not require admission to play.

Cranes: 1 Token per play (use 5 at once for an extra credit!)
Gashapon Capsule: 1-5 tokens per prize capsule (Instructions are on top of each gashapon!)

Is gamecenter wheelchair accessible?

gamecenter staff have created a layout to allow those with wheelchairs easy access around the arcade.

We also provide a ramp to easily get into the front of our arcade!
